Me, I waiver from time to time when I’m walking through trials and tribulations that in no way match up to real fire. They had so much faith and hope in God that they walked into the fire. It makes me think about Pastor Jim’s sermon the other day on Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendigo. But this is something that I need to remember. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY YEARS, and I have a hard time trusting God when he takes 120 DAYS longer than I think he should! What does that say about me? I’m human. He talks about Noah and how for 120 years he built and ark and warned others of the impending judgement. Let's love him with crazy love and live for Him every day.What an interesting statement the author makes, “Something is wrong when our lives make sense to unbelievers.” Now there’s a thought. A love that can not be removed, from you. When people gladly sacrifice their time or comfort or home, it is obvious that they trust in the promises of God.įather God / Jesus / Holy Spirit - loves us with a Crazy Love. Something is wrong when Our life makes sense to unbelievers. What does that mean? 1 Corinthians 13:4 - 8, 13Ĩ. God assesses our lives based on how we love. (Attend church just enough, give just enough, pray every once in a while.etc)ħ. Luke warm only want to do what it takes to not feel too guilty. Lukewarm people want to play it safe, they want to stay in control. Perhaps I can heat up areas and be more committed to His will than mine.Ħ. We all have areas of our lives that are lukewarm. We need to check the mirror of the Word to be sure we are on HIS track.ĥ. Most of us walk this journey checking the mirror to be sure we are on our track.
We are only passing through (eternity is a really long time compared to our short life).Ĥ.
Enjoy the ones you love and do the things to please God because you LOVE Him. Consider what in the Universe you are doing.
